From Ren House's door to the sand of South Beach is about 800 metres — a relaxed ten-minute walk along a flat street, with at least three coffee-and-breakfast stops on the way. Close enough to walk home in your swimsuit; far enough that you don't pay "front line" prices or listen to beach bars until 3 a.m.

Why not the front line?

The front line in Nessebar and Sunny Beach means three things: higher prices, noise late into the night, and rates set by the metre of sea view. Ten minutes inland you get a modern, quiet apartment — and the beach doesn't move. In the morning you'll beat the hotel-complex crowds.

Which beach should you pick?

Nessebar's South Beach is wide, sandy and calmer — and the nearest to us. The North Beach is smaller and quieter. And if you want kilometres of sand and water sports, Sunny Beach is a few minutes away by car or the regular bus.
